Pizza Dough - Bread Machine =========================== Ingredients for 2lb (makes 2 thick pizza or 4 thin): - 1 2/3 cups warm water (80 degree) - 2 tbsp oil - 2 tbsp sugar - 2 tsp salt - 2 tbsp dry milk (or just add more water) - 4.5 cups bread flour (aka 685g or 24.1oz) - 2 tsp active dry yeast (this is normal 1/4 oz packet) Instructions: 1) Lightly spray pan so nothing sticks (not sure if required) 2) Add ingredients in order 3) Select Dough option (haven't tried pizza dough option yet). Hit start 4) Cycle will finish in 1hr 30 min. 5) Dough should double in size. Check if done by pushing tip of finger into dough. If it remains it is done. If not, cover + let rise a few min more. 6) Use right away OR put in gallon bag with oil in fridge OR gallon bag with oil + freeze up to 3 mth. Use a little flour if too sticky to pick up. NOTE: If you freeze, thaw in fridge about 12 hrs. Then let sit on counter 30min or more before using. Works great! To use without bread machine: 1) Warm yeast in warm water ~5 min 2) Whisk dry ingredients in bowl with mixer 3) Switch to dough hook + add wet ingredients. 4) Mix about 5 min until dough clears sides and it smooth 5) Put on floured counter and knead 30sec into ball 6) Put in oiled bowl seam side down and cover. Let rised 1.5-2hrs. 7) Continue above wit step 5.
